Bill Cassidy is a physician and two-term U.S. Senator from Louisiana who was first elected in 2014 and re-elected in 2020 with 59.3% of the vote. He previously served in the Louisiana State Senate (2006-2008) and the U.S. House representing Louisiana's 6th Congressional District (2009-2015).
