Roger Williams is a 76-year-old Republican congressman who has represented Texas' 25th Congressional District since 2013. Born in Evanston, Illinois and raised in Fort Worth, Williams earned a degree in education from Texas Christian University and played college baseball. He was drafted by the Atlanta Braves and played in their farm system before becoming a small business owner and TCU baseball coach. Williams served as Texas Secretary of State from 2004-2007 under Governor Rick Perry. He is the Chair of the House Committee on Small Business and serves on the House Financial Services Committee. Background

Born in Evanston, Illinois in 1949 and raised in Fort Worth. Williams played college baseball for Texas Christian University, was drafted by the Atlanta Braves, and played in their farm system. He later became a baseball coach at TCU. He has owned and operated a family auto dealership for over 50 years. His wife Patty Jung died on January 17, 2025. He has two daughters. Williams' net worth was estimated at $27.7 million as of 2018, making him the 22nd wealthiest member of Congress.
