Contradictions

No contradictions documented.

No contradictions documented.

Claim: Cloud claims to be a constitutional conservative focused on protecting American liberties and the Constitution
Contradiction: Cloud participated in efforts to overturn the 2020 election by signing the Texas v. Pennsylvania amicus brief and voting against certifying electoral votes, which critics argue contradicts constitutional processes and democratic principles.

What Opponents Say

No opponent claims documented.

Michael Cloud

Cloud's campaign likely focuses on constitutional conservatism and limited government versus Lloyd's expanded federal government spending proposals

As the incumbent Republican in a heavily Republican district, Cloud's campaign positions would emphasize the conservative nature of the district versus Lloyd's more progressive platform.

Tanya Lloyd

Cloud's voting record shows he has not adequately addressed the needs of working families, particularly regarding healthcare costs, prescription drug prices, childcare access, and affordable education.

Lloyd's campaign emphasizes Cloud's opposition to Democratic healthcare initiatives while proposing her own platform focused on affordability for working families.
